Stay safe and obey local hands-free laws with built-in Bluetooth (HFP). Easily pair a Bluetooth enabled phone to the AVH-521EX without having to go through complicated settings. When a registered Bluetooth device is in proximity to the receiver, the auto connection function automatically pairs the two units.
Pandora is a personalized internet radio that is designed to help you discover new music that you'll love mixed in with music that you already know. With the AVH-521EX, you can enjoy the superior sound quality and full control of the Pandora experience in your car directly from the touchscreen display of the receiver. You can give tracks "thumbs up" or "thumbs down," bookmark a song so you can purchase it later, easily switch between your personalized radio stations, and view full track data and album art.
With Spotify being a dedicated A/V source on the AVH-521EX, you now can control content from the Spotify app on iPhone and Android devices. You can play, pause and skip tracks, and browse playlists, albums and radio stations on the go using the Pioneer controls.
Users of an iPhone® with Siri can take advantage of Siri Eyes Free functionality. With a simple touch of the AVH-521EX's touchscreen, Siri starts listening through the external microphone and answers your questions and requests over the vehicle's speakers, helping you keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel.
Keep your factory features and expand your level of in-vehicle connectivity with Pioneer NEX and iDatalink Maestro RR. When your AVH-521EX receiver is installed into a compatible vehicle using the iDatalink Maestro RR (sold separately), you'll enjoy the performance and features of the AVH-521EX receiver plus touchscreen control over key factory audio features. The AVH-521EX supports factory functions via the iDatalink Maestro RR, including Steering Wheel Controls, Media Player (including the factory AUX-in and USB ports), Hands-Free Telephone, Voice Commands, Satellite Radio, and Secondary Display Support.
Keep the party going with MIXTRAX®, an innovative Pioneer technology that creates a non-stop mix of your music library complete with a range of DJ-inspired effects. Drawing from Pioneer's rich DJ heritage and our passion for music, MIXTRAX delivers a unique DJ infused listening experience to those in the car. MIXTRAX takes the music from an iPhone, iPod, USB device, or specific Android devices. It plays it back with added transitions and effects, creating a virtual DJ inside the Pioneer receiver.

Range - The remote range is based on line-of-sight unobstructed testing under ideal conditions. The actual range will vary due to local conditions including, but not limited to, environment, terrain, physical obstructions, vehicle location and orientation, interference and other possible impediments.

Shipping Cost - With shipping costs increasing every year by 3-4% and us wanting to keep our product prices accurate and not inflated by "Free Shipping," we offer you the best live shipping rates at checkout. If the live shipping rate changes significantly between the time you placed your order and when we printed the shipping label, we will refund you the difference. If we can find a comparable service (same transit time) available at a lower rate, we may use a different Currier and refund you the difference.
Returns - You have 30 days to return an order. Returns & Exchanges
Warranty - All products sold by Shark Electronics Ltd. are covered under our Standard Warranty for one year from the date of purchase. Shark Electronics Ltd. warrants the product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for the warranty period. If the product fails during regular and proper use within the warranty period, Shark Electronics Ltd. will replace the defective parts of the product, or the product itself, with new or reconditioned components or products that are functionally equivalent or superior to those originally supplied. Our Standard Warranty does not cover misuse, improper installation, or abuse of the product. Products that have been damaged, modified, or tampered with are not eligible for warranty coverage unless our Technical Support Team specified the modification. All warranty claims are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Payment - We accept all primary forms of payment. All transactions are secure and encrypted.
