Refund & Return Policy for EU Customers

At Shark Electronics, we stand behind the products we sell and strive to provide exceptional customer service.

Please review our Return & Refund Policy for EU customers before placing your order.

European Union Customers

Customers purchasing from countries within the European Union may have additional statutory rights, including a 14-day right of withdrawal for eligible purchases under applicable consumer protection laws.

This right does not apply to products that have been installed, programmed, customized, or otherwise fall within statutory exceptions.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order and return the item within 30 days of delivery.

You can cancel your order until the item is fulfilled.

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original condition.
  • All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and hardware must be included.
  • The product must not have been programmed, flashed, registered, or modified.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return unless they were shipped in error:

  • Products that have been installed or show signs of installation.
  • Programmed or flashed modules.
  • Products that have been registered.
  • Special DIY orders or custom-programmed products.
  • Clearance or final-sale items.
  • Products with missing components, damaged packaging, or altered serial numbers.

Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, we may request:

  • Photos of the product and packaging.
  • The product serial number.
  • A description of the issue.
  • Basic troubleshooting information.

Many issues involving remote starters or bypass modules can be resolved through troubleshooting without requiring a return.

If the product is confirmed to be defective, we will, at our discretion:

  • Repair the product;
  • Replace it with the same or equivalent item; or
  • Issue a refund where appropriate.

Incorrect Orders

If we shipped the wrong item, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label and ship the correct product at no additional cost.

Installation Costs

We are not responsible for:

  • Installation or removal charges.
  • Diagnostic fees.
  • Vehicle towing expenses.
  • Rental vehicle costs.
  • Loss of use.
  • Any incidental or consequential damages resulting from product installation or failure, except where prohibited by law.

Return Shipping

Unless the return is due to our error or a verified product defect, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as we cannot issue refunds for packages lost in transit.

Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return results from our error or is otherwise required by law.

Refused Deliveries

Orders refused by the customer or returned due to an incorrect shipping address may be subject to:

  • Return shipping charges;
  • Original shipping charges; and
  • Any applicable restocking fee.

These amounts will be deducted from any eligible refund.

Warranty

Manufacturer warranties are separate from this Return & Refund Policy.

Warranty claims may require technical troubleshooting before a replacement or repair is authorized.

Warranty coverage does not include damage resulting from:

  • Improper installation;
  • Incorrect vehicle application;
  • Abuse or misuse;
  • Water intrusion;
  • Vehicle electrical issues;
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
